Ductal-cutaneous fistula secondary to recurrent Bartholin’s cysts: a case report

Background: Disorders of the Bartholin’s duct and gland, including cyst abscess formation, account for 2% gynecologic visits annually. An uncommon complication a or gland is fistula formation. Literature has described cases recto-Bartholin’s recto-vaginal fistulas. Case: We present case development between perineum gland. The patient was successfully managed with fistulectomy excision. Conclusion: Though formation rare pathology, investigation warranted. A ductal-cutaneous possible in setting recurrent cysts located beyond vaginal introitus. best method prevention appropriate execution marsupialization. Complete removal fistulous tract and/or can result resolution symptoms.
